Best landlord, now and then even drinks one with the guests and at the end even invited us to the house for 2 Kölsch. Great facility with modern table football and dartboard. You can also watch football on TV. When I'm in Cologne again I will definitely visit the bar again ??

Basically the most beautiful brewery in Cologne. Unfortunately, we were very rudely pointed out by the "deputy boss" that if you watch football on the tablet without sound, you are not served here. Reason: none. Very uncomfortable to be treated like this in front of all guests. Have been there many times, never had a problem with it. It's a shame.

Looks a bit old-fashioned and rancid from the outside, but it is tidy on the inside and the counter and seating furniture seem comparatively new. In addition to the normal pub offer, there are also cocktails, although they are more expensive. Overall, the cobblestones on the floor have a cellar bar arm, which is actually quite nice. The audience was amazingly young. There is "table service".

There used to be more going on, but maybe this time it was the wrong time, Thursday, holiday season, summer. The Kölschpreis I find with 1.90 very ambitious, even if it is Päffgen. Something is missing.

One of the stops on the Cologne Pub Crawl which is well worth doing as it's a great way to meet people of all ages and Paff is definitely a nice wee spot to stop for a drink.

Great German dishes and Kölsch beer

The service was a bit rude and slow. I know about the habit of Cologne breweries' waiters 'habit' of being rough and all! But this was simply grumpy overall. The beer isn't as tasty as it used to be (when there was still served Päffgen)

The Päff near the playground in Cologne has become a permanent institution. Whether preheating, party or nightcap, the service is friendly, the audience is always in a good mood and the prices are perfectly reasonable. At the weekend the shop is not always full and at Carnival it bursts at the seams.
